Lusaka to Kafue National Park

Early in the morning, we pick you up from your accommodation in Lusaka, and can have a stopover at a shopping center where you can buy some alcoholic drinks or other refreshments. We drive to Kafue National Park where we will camp on the banks of the Kafue River at a nice, shady campsite. Guests are requested to help with setting up tents and loading vehicles.

Kafue National Park

We will be staying in the central part of Kafue, in the Chunga region. We will spend the whole day doing game viewing in the park. Several small rivers cross this area which leaves a number of waterholes in the dry season for the animals to quench their thirst. Wild dogs, which roam large areas of the park, and cheetahs and lions are among the inhabitants here. We will camp on the banks of the Kafue River. Guests are requested to help with setting up tents and loading vehicles.

Lake Ithezi Thezi, Southern Kafue National Park

After a morning drive in the central part of the Kafue National Park, we head south to Lake Ithezi-Thezi. Experience the beautiful scenery on the lakeshore and animals quenching their thirst as we watch from our campsite at Hippo Bay, next to the lake. Guests are requested to help with setting up tents and loading vehicles.

Livingstone

Today, we leave Kafue National Park and drive to Livingstone. There are a lot of activities on offer including white-water rafting, sundowner drift, canoeing, swimming under the Victoria Falls and Devil’s Pool and much more. We will drop you off at your accommodation in town. We can arrange activities and book a lodge for you.
