3-Day Zanzibar to Nyerere NP (Boat, Vehicle & Plane)

Transfer to Nyerere NP & Sunset Boat Safari

On this special day, our professional driver will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel and drop you off to board your boat to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, our driver-guide will be waiting for you as he starts your journey to Nyerere National Park, which will take approximately 4 to 5 hours of driving.

You will arrive at the lodge for lunch, then leave around 4 pm for the sunset boat safari, on which you will enjoy the sundowner. You will see various animals, such as crocodiles, hippos, various bird species, and other wild animals coming to drink from the river. The river is known as the Great Rufiji River. After the boat safari, you will return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Game Drive

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your lodge for a full-day game drive through the park (formerly Selous Game Reserve).

Wildlife and scenery: Spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and more! You'll also see a variety of birds and landscapes, from wetlands and grasslands to acacia forests and mountain views.

Lunch and relaxation: Enjoy a packed lunch and a rest stop in the afternoon before continuing the game drive until sunset.

In the evening, return to your camp or lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Bushwalk Safari & Departure

On this day, you will wake up for a bush walk safari with our Bushman, who will lead you to the nearby national park forest. You will learn about various vegetation covers and different tree types. Also, you will see various animal footprints, and the bush will educate you pretty well. Later, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and then fly back to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
