Bush Walk Nyerere National Park & Boat Cruise Rufiji River

After an early breakfast, set out on a mid-morning bushwalk with an armed guide in Nyerere National Park, exploring the wilderness on foot and spotting smaller wildlife and birdlife up close with your guide. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Rufiji River, where hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds can be seen against the stunning backdrop of the park. As evening falls, return to Africa Safari Selous for your second night, relaxing in comfort and soaking in the sounds of the African bush.

Fly-out Mtemere airstrip to Zanzibar Airport

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive through Nyerere National Park, soaking in the early-morning beauty and one last glimpse of Tanzania’s incredible wildlife. Your guide will then take you to Mtemere Airstrip for your domestic flight to Zanzibar Airport. From there, you will be met for a transfer back to your Zanzibar accommodation or to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, carrying with you unforgettable memories of your Southern Tanzania adventure.
