Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

You’ll start early in the morning with a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha where your safari guide will be waiting for you. After a short briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its beautiful landscapes dotted with baobab trees and large herds of elephants.
Spend the day on game drives, searching for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and the many bird species that thrive along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while watching wildlife roam nearby.

In the late afternoon, drive to Mto wa Mbu town for dinner and overnight at Jua Manyara Lodge or Fig Tree Lodge, both offering a comfortable and budget-friendly stay surrounded by nature.

Ngorongoro crater to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”
Spend the day exploring the crater floor, home to the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as hippos, wildebeest, and countless flamingos at Lake Magadi.

After your picnic lunch in the crater, drive back to Arusha in the afternoon and catch your return flight to Zanzibar, arriving in the evening.
