Pick up Dar es Salaam hotel at 08:00 AM for a comfortable 4-5 hour drive to Nyerere National Park. Arrive around 12:30 PM for a hearty lunch at the lodge. Take a short rest before your thrilling evening boat safari on the Rufiji River from 16:00 PM to 18:30 PM—spot hippos, crocodiles, birds, and wildlife along the riverbanks as the sun sets in spectacular fashion. Return to the lodge for dinner, followed by an enchanting evening guide storytelling session around.
Overnight at Selous River View Lodge or Mloka Safari Lodge.

After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in Africa's largest national park. Encounter huge elephant herds (one of the continent's highest populations), buffaloes, lions, giraffes, zebras, greater kudu, eland, bushbuck, impala, baboons, and the rare African wild dog. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the bush. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Maji Moto (Hot Springs) near Tagalala, where you can unwind with a refreshing swim in the natural geothermal pools—surrounded by the wild African landscape where animals often come to drink.

Accompanied by a local ranger, learn about traditional lifestyles, survival skills, indigenous knowledge, and the historical relationship between people and wildlife. After the walk, return for breakfast and drive back to Dar es Salaam with afternoon drop-off at your hotel.
