Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins! Our Serengeti African Tours guide will pick you up from your lodge in or near Arusha. During the 2.5-hour drive, enjoy scenic views of Tanzania’s beautiful landscapes and local communities. Upon arrival, we’ll begin a game drive through Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including tree-climbing African pythons. Around midday, you’ll enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. After lunch, continue exploring Tarangire on an afternoon game drive before heading to Suricata Boma Lodge for a relaxing overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

You’ll start your day early and, after breakfast, drive into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world and home to an estimated 30,000 large mammals. Its natural boundaries create a thriving ecosystem where you can spot the Big Five, including the African black rhino, as well as hyenas, zebras, elephants, and many other wildlife species. During the game drive, you’ll enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the crater, surrounded by the spectacular scenery and wildlife. After an exciting day of exploration, we’ll begin our drive back to Arusha in the afternoon and drop you off at your hotel.
