After breakfast at your Nairobi hotel, your professional guide will pick you up for the journey to the Masai Mara. Travel through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a stop at the famous viewpoint to capture stunning photos before continuing across the highlands. You will arrive in the Masai Mara in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive across this world-renowned reserve, part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem and home to the Great Wildebeest Migration and the legendary Big Five. Later, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Enkorok mara camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve Full-Day Game Drive

After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. This iconic safari destination is famed for its sweeping landscapes, abundant wildlife including the Big Five, and rich Maasai culture. Between July and October, witness the unforgettable Great Migration, as millions of wildebeest and zebras make their way across the plains, closely followed by predators. Your guide will ensure excellent photographic opportunities. In the evening, return for dinner and overnight at enkorok mara.

Please note: On this day, you may opt to begin with an early morning hot air balloon safari (at an extra cost). After the balloon experience, you will rejoin your group for the game drive.

After breakfast at the camp, you will have the opportunity to experience a cultural visit to a traditional Maasai village, where you can learn about the community’s way of life and rich traditions. Later, depart the Mara region and travel toward Nakuru, with lunch en route. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha from the highway. Arrive in Nakuru in the evening for dinner and overnight at Buraha Zenoni Resort.

Continue with an extensive game drive through Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds. The park also offers excellent opportunities to spot diverse wildlife including wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, lions, and cheetahs. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted with over 400 recorded species found here. Spend a full day exploring the park with a packed lunch, before returning in the evening for dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Camp.
