Day 3-4

After breakfast, journey through the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time to check in, enjoy lunch, and relax while taking in the incredible surroundings. Later that afternoon, descend nearly 2,000 feet to the crater floor for your first game drive, searching for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino.
The following morning, return to the crater floor for an extended morning game drive, taking advantage of the cooler hours when wildlife is especially active. Explore the crater’s grasslands, forests, wetlands, and freshwater pools before ascending back to your lodge around midday.
