Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) and Game Drive

Early morning pickup from your hotel and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Nyerere National Park. Enjoy the scenic flight over the Indian Ocean and mainland Tanzania.
Arrive around 7:00 a.m., meet your safari guide, and after registration, begin your full-day game drive in this magnificent park. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, buffalos, and various antelopes — with luck, you may spot leopards or hyenas.
Enjoy a hot picnic lunch in the wild before continuing your afternoon drive until sunset.
In the evening, head to your lodge for refreshments, dinner, and an overnight stay surrounded by the peaceful African bush.

Cultural Experience and Rufiji River Safari

Begin your morning with a delicious hot breakfast prepared by the lodge’s skilled local chef.
After breakfast, visit a nearby Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. Enjoy and participate in traditional Maasai songs and dances while learning about their rich customs and way of life.
Following the village visit, drive to the Rufiji River for a scenic boat safari lasting approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. As you glide along the river, keep an eye out for hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of exotic tropical birds that thrive in this lush ecosystem.
After your river adventure, return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest. Spend some time relaxing and enjoying the serene surroundings before checking out at around 3:00 p.m.
You will then transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar, departing at 4:00 p.m. and arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your chosen hotel.
