Your adventure begins with a comfortable 4-hour transfer from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park in a well-equipped 4x4 safari vehicle. Enjoy the scenic Tanzanian countryside along the way. Upon arrival, you will have lunch before heading out for your afternoon-to-evening game drive. Explore the park’s stunning landscapes and look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, and other wildlife. As the sun sets, return to your comfortable rest house inside the national park for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Begin your adventure with an early morning game drive as the wilderness awakens. This is the prime time to witness predators on the hunt and active wildlife before the sun gets hot. Afterward, return to the camp for a hearty breakfast.
Next, set out for another immersive game drive into Nyerere National Park. Armed with packed lunches, spend your midday tracking elephants, giraffes, and birds. Your guide will select a scenic bush picnic site for a relaxed lunch surrounded by nature.
As the golden hour nears, drive straight to the Rufiji River for a sunset boat safari. Cruise past pods of hippos and crocodiles under a brilliant sky. Conclude your day at Mtemere Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Bush walk And Transfer to Dar es Salaam

You'll start the day with an early morning bush walk to experience the wilderness on foot. After the bush walk, which takes around two and a half hours, you will return to your lodge to shower and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
After breakfast, you'll drive back to Dar es Salaam with packed lunch boxes. On arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home, or at your hotel / ferry terminal for your onward journey to Zanzibar or Mafia Island.
