5-Day Andasibe & Palmarium Aye-Aye Tour

Antananarivo - Andasibe Village Park

We will pick you up from your hotel in Antananarivo in the morning to begin your adventure.
You will travel to Andasibe village, located approximately a 4-hour drive east of Antananarivo along National Road No. 2.
Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel and have time to enjoy its facilities, such as the pool, spa, and bar, at your leisure.

At 6:30 PM, our team will pick you up again for a guided night walk in the community reserve. During this safari, you will have the opportunity to observe nocturnal species, including mouse lemurs and endemic reptiles such as chameleons.
Please remember to bring a raincoat, mosquito repellent, and a flashlight.

Andasibe Park - Pangalane River -Palmarium Reserve

Today at 7:30 AM - you'll have a guided visit to Analamazaotra Rainforest. The park is home to over five lemur species, including the largest, the indri, known for its loud calls heard from 4-5 km away. After the visit, you'll drive for 4 hours on RN2 to the village of Manambato. From there, you’ll cross to an off-road route to the riverside for a boat ride on the Pangalane River channel to Palmarium Reserve. You'll experience local farming and fishing life along the way, passing Rasoabe and Rasoa Kely Lakes. Your journey concludes at the serene 'Dream Nest.

Palmarium Reserve - Aye -Aye Lemur

You'll embark on an exciting journey through the Palmarium Reserve with a knowledgeable local guide. Our guided walk will last 2 to 3 hours, and take you through lush, biodiverse forests, unveiling the hidden wonders of this remarkable ecosystem. After the reserve exploration, you’ll visit a traditional fisherman’s village in the afternoon, where you can experience local daily life.

By 5:30 PM – Nighttime Aye-Aye Lemur Excursion.
You'll embark on the boat ride for an hour night excursion to spot the elusive Aye-Aye lemur in its natural habitat. This area offers one of the best chances to see these nocturnal creatures up close. You'll enjoy a shared boat ride under the stars. You'll be immersing yourself in the magical atmosphere of the reserve at night.

Palmarium Lodge - Manambato Village - Mantasoa village

Today, you will depart this beautiful location wih motorboat and head back on the same road to Andasibe via national route N°2. On the route, you can stop at Madagascar Exotic Park, which is a privately run reserve at Marozevo and is situated between the towns of Manjakandriana and Moramanga. This happens to be a very popular tourist spot, so make your day memorable! Catch sights of different reptiles, butterflies, moths, insects, and more here. Keep driving after the visit, then ctoss to Mantasoa villge where you will spend the night at natural beautiful lodge.

Mantasoa lake- Nosy soa Park - Antananarivo

After breakfast, you will enjoy a peaceful motorboat ride across the lake of Mantasoa to Nosy Soa Park, where you can see lemurs, including Ring-tailed, and reptiles. Here you will have chance to interact with lemur, then return to the lakeside for lunch before driving back to Antananarivo. There, you will visit the historic Queen’s Palace and explore the lively Analakely Market. After all the visits, we will transfer you to your hotel or the airport.
