Arusha to Tarangire National Park
In the morning, our personal safari guide will collect you from your lodge in Arusha. We’ll embark on a scenic journey to Tarangire National Park along a well-paved road, crossing the gently rolling Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees. As we travel, you’ll see many Maasai in their colorful attire walking by the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts.
Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds and hosts a rich variety of wildlife. From the open roof of our state-of-the-art safari jeep, you’ll enjoy views of seasonal swamps, savanna, and the vital Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for a multitude of animals, including zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and giraffes. There’s a chance we might even spot lions stalking their prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above.
