Day 1

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel in Arusha at 7:30 AM (we can assist with hotel arrangements upon request). You’ll then set off for Serengeti National Park, passing through the picturesque highland farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

As you leave the highlands behind, you’ll descend into the heart of wild Africa—Serengeti National Park—where endless plains stretch as far as the eye can see.

You’ll head to the central area of the park, known as Seronera, one of the richest wildlife habitats. Here, the Seronera River serves as a vital water source, attracting a wide variety of wildlife representative of the Serengeti's diverse species.

Upon arrival in the afternoon, you’ll enjoy lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive through the park. You’ll explore until early evening, then return to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay at a public campsite.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, we recommend waking up early for breakfast at 6:30 AM, allowing you to embark on an early morning game drive when the animals are most active and to witness one of the most stunning sunrises imaginable.

After your drive, you’ll set off for the Ngorongoro Area, where the Ngorongoro Crater awaits—truly a forgotten world.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most beautiful wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Here, you’ll have the chance to marvel at its steep volcanic walls, sweeping savannahs, pockets of acacia woodland, open plains, and glistening streams. This area is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including a concentration of flamingos and the "Big Five": lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards. Keep an eye out for majestic leopards resting in the branches of the sausage trees along the Seronera River.

In the evening, we’ll head to the Ngorongoro Simba campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
