Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, the safari capital of Northern Tanzania.

Situated at the base of Mount Meru, Arusha is the perfect starting point for Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. After check-in, enjoy a short briefing about your upcoming adventure. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your lodge before dinner and overnight in Arusha.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The park is known for its diverse wildlife and scenic landscapes.

During the game drive you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and various antelope species. The Tarangire River serves as a vital water source, attracting many animals especially during the dry season.

After breakfast, depart from Serengeti National Park and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way you will continue spotting wildlife as you exit the Serengeti plains.

Upon arrival at the crater rim, enjoy breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. The crater is home to thousands of animals including lions, buffalo, zebras, elephants, and the rare black rhino.

Dinner and overnight at a lodge near the crater or in Karatu.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi, a beautiful seasonal lake located south of the Ngorongoro Highlands. This area offers a unique cultural experience with local indigenous communities.

You will visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last hunter-gatherer communities in Africa. Accompanied by local guides, you may observe their traditional hunting techniques using bows and arrows.

Later visit the Datoga tribe, known for their traditional blacksmith skills and unique cultural traditions. Dinner and overnight at your lodge near Lake Eyasi.
