Thereafter, enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular, offering a dramatic, steeply forested landscape that is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails that allow access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary depending on the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed one hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Later, you will return to your accommodations and rest after the strenuous trek.
