Day 2

In the morning, board a domestic flight to Morondava, a laid-back coastal town on the western side of the island. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred north by road through dry deciduous forest landscapes to Kirindy Reserve (approximately 2–3 hours). After check-in, enjoy a guided late afternoon and evening walk in the reserve, offering a chance to spot nocturnal wildlife such as the elusive fossa, mouse lemurs, and various endemic reptiles.

Day 3

Begin your day with a guided morning exploration of Kirindy Reserve, home to several species of lemurs including the Verreaux's sifaka and red-fronted brown lemurs, as well as rich birdlife. After lunch, return to Morondava by road. As the sun begins to set, stop at the iconic Avenue of the Baobabs—a magical location where ancient Grandidier’s baobabs cast long, photogenic shadows over the dusty track. It’s a perfect opportunity for sunset photography before continuing to your hotel in Morondava.

Day 4
Morondava – Antananarivo – Andasibe National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Morondava Airport for your return flight to Antananarivo. Upon arrival, you will continue your journey by road eastward towards Andasibe National Park (approx. 4–5 hours), driving through the scenic highlands and lush tropical forest. In the evening, embark on a guided night walk along the forest edge to discover the park’s nocturnal species, including frogs, chameleons, and mouse lemurs.

Day 5-6

Spend two full days exploring the rich biodiversity of Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, one of Madagascar’s most renowned reserves. Your visit includes guided treks in the Analamazaotra Reserve, where the haunting call of the Indri—the largest living lemur—echoes through the canopy. Also explore Mantadia National Park, a more rugged area with towering primary rainforest, waterfalls, and opportunities to see rare bird and orchid species. Time permitting, visit the Lemur Island sanctuary at Vakona for an up-close encounter with several habituated lemur species.
