The 3-Day Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Tour and Lake Bunyonyiyou starts by picking you from Entebbe International Airport, a staff member from Giant Holiday Safaris will meet and brief you about the tour. You’ll then take a long drive of about 7 hours, with a stop for lunch in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center. Even though the drive is long, you’ll see beautiful views like tropical rainforests, open savannah, and the terraced hills of Kigezi, also called the "Switzerland of East Africa." When you reach Bwindi, you’ll check into your lodge and visit the Batwa community to learn about their culture. After that, you’ll relax and enjoy some free time before the next day’s adventure.

Day 2

Start your day early with a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. At 8:00 am, you’ll embark on a thrilling mountain gorilla trek in Bwindi's dense forest. The trek can last between two-to-six hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once you encounter these majestic creatures, you'll have up to one hour to observe and photograph them, creating unforgettable memories.

After the trek, you’ll return to the park headquarters to collect your well-earned gorilla trekking certificate. Then, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the second deepest lake in Africa, for a relaxation.

Day 3

Transfer to Kampala via Equator the Line

Transfer to Kampala via Equator the Line

Enjoy breakfast at the resort before beginning your return journey to Entebbe. The drive lasting over eight hours includes a lunch stop in mbarara en route and another stopover in kayabwe at the Uganda Equator Line. Arrive in Entebbe in the evening, where you will be dropped off at either Entebbe Airport or your hotel This will conclude your safari adventure.
