Nairobi to Amboseli - Approx 250km (5-hour drive)

Depart Nairobi along the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway towards Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views of the savannah, Maasai homesteads and grazing cattle. Arrive at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, located within the park, in time for lunch. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife. Weather permitting, take in breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Approximately 190km (4 hours drive)

After breakfast, depart for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy a game drive through its diverse landscapes, home to elephants, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards and abundant birdlife. Arrive at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, uniquely built on stilts and connected by elevated walkways overlooking a wildlife waterhole. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge. In the evening, watch wildlife gather at the floodlit waterhole from the lodge’s restaurant or bar. You may also visit the nearby Taita Hills World War I Museum at an additional cost. Dinner and overnight at Salt Lick Safari Lodge.
