Nairobi to Amboseli

We will depart from Nairobi and drive south for 4 hours to Amboseli National Park. Enjoy scenic views of the countryside and glimpses of Mount Kilimanjaro en route. On arrival at our lodge or camp, check in and relax. After checking in, we have our lunch and head out for our first game drive in Amboseli. Spot large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and other wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

In the evening, we return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park

We start our day with a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, we go for an early morning game drive to catch the best views of wildlife and Kilimanjaro as the morning light illuminates the landscape. We will visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park and swamps, and explore Amboseli’s swamps where hippos and birds thrive.

After the game drive, we return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we go for another game drive focusing on Amboseli's unique ecosystem and wildlife, or an optional cultural visit to a local community village to learn about their traditions and way of life.

In the evening, we return to the lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Amboseli to Nairobi

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and head out for a final early morning game drive for last glimpses of the wildlife and sunrise views of Kilimanjaro.

After the game drive, we depart for Nairobi with a stopover for refreshments, calling it a successful safari!
