Day 1

You'll meet a Ngao Safaris representative and transfer guide, and drive to Arusha. On the way, you'll get a chance for a briefing and introduction about your safari. Thereafter, you'll arrive in Arusha to rest.

Arusha is a good city in terms of weather, environment, safety, and security. If you arrive early morning, you will have enough time to rest for 2-4 hours, and evening have time to tour Arusha city and visit key areas, and have time to refresh and enjoy the city environment and banquet. You will also have the opportunity to go shopping for local and cultural products if you are interested. The city offers music places to enjoy the night vibe for those who are fond of a good garden, drinks, and music. Since the next day will be a full game drive, the customer will have to overnight on time and prepare for an early start to Ngorongoro Crater, which is about a 2-hour drive from Arusha.

Early morning, around 6:00 am, you'll enjoy your breakfast, and our guide will meet you at your hotel/lodge. He'll brief you about your day safari. Then, you'll drive straight to the Ngorongoro gate. On this day, you will be able to experience the magnificent and spectacular view of Ngorongoro Crater with the songs of various bird species over the crater. Not only that, but you will also have an opportunity to see some of the big cats. Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife viewing areas. The crater is about 21 km wide, close to Olduvai Gorge, where many fossils have been unearthed, and is one of the largest calderas in the world. Within its walls is a variety of animals and vegetation, including grasslands, swamps, forests, salt pans, a freshwater lake, and wildlife. The wildlife includes lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, rhinos, zebras, and reedbuck. After lunch, you'll check out of Ngorongoro and drive to Serengeti for an overnight stay.

This will be a full game drive in the greater wilderness of Central Serengeti. You will have enough time to do an extensive game drive and have a chance to encounter the big five and big cats on the game. Serengeti National Park is home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, eland, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and more. A lot of birds include zebras and many others. You will have a chance at the initial stage to encounter the wildebeest migration as well lot of bird species.
Later evening, you will drive to the northern Serengeti and stay overnight. Be ready for migration, crossing the Mara River when you book this safari between mid July-September.
