Following an early breakfast, set out for a morning game drive in the delta region of Murchison Falls National Park, where wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, and numerous antelope species roam freely. Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, take a scenic boat cruise along the Nile River, offering close encounters with hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife, all set against the backdrop of the dramatic falls. Dinner will be served back at the lodge where you’ll spend the night.

Start the day with breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, where lions, elephants, hyenas, and large herds of Uganda kob are commonly spotted. After returning to the lodge for lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its dense population of hippos, crocodiles, and rich birdlife. Following the cruise, you will begin the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening. Dinner will be served at the lodge where you’ll stay overnight, nestled in the forested highlands.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette. Led by experienced rangers, venture into the dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can last between 2 to 6 hours depending on their location, and you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking hour in the presence of these magnificent primates. After returning to the lodge, enjoy a late lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing. Your final dinner will be served at the lodge, where you’ll spend one last night in the heart of the rainforest.
