Head to Amboseli NP from Nairobi

We arrive at Amboseli in time for lunch after picking you up at the airport or any Nairobi Hotel. We'll leave for an afternoon game drive. You will catch the last of the animals on this game drive as they are leaving their hides to hunt for their final meal of the day. The other grazing animals will be gathering to rest, while the reptiles will be taking a sunbath.

The park is located at the foot of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the African highest mountain. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants and also for Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak and the only highest freestanding mountain in the world, providing a beautiful snow-capped backdrop.

At the camp, you will have dinner and spend the night.

Full Day Game Drive

Wake before dawn for an unforgettable sunrise game drive within the park. Kilimanjaro never looks quite as beautiful as she does first thing in the morning, and you'll also get to see predators such as lions and cheetahs out on the prowl in the cooler morning air. After your morning game drive and a late breakfast, relax at the lodge for a few hours before heading out into the park again in the afternoon. With the animals largely inactive during the warm midday hours, you can get some rest before catching them out and about in the cooling afternoon air.

This is a flexible day. After breakfast, you can choose to go for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. You'll return to the lodge in the evening.

You also can have an early morning game drive and returning for breakfast then relax until late afternoon for another game drive at 4:00pm.

Full Day Game Drive

On this day, you will wake up for breakfast before heading out for a game drive in the conservancy. During your game drive, you will have a chance to see the big cats of Tsavo and other animals like the elephant, hippos, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, diverse plants and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near-threatened Basra Reed Warbler. Later on, you will go back to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before going for an afternoon game drive.

Drop to Diani

Following breakfast in the morning, you will be driven to the Voi train station for your train to Mombasa, where you will enjoy the sand and the beaches you will to be picked up from the Mombasa train station and dropped off at your Diani hotel.
