Day 1

The pick-up will be from either the hotel or the airport upon arrival. The assigned professional English-speaking tour driver-guide will pick/receive you and hit the road to Murchison Falls National Park. The highlights of this park include the roaring rapids of the Murchison Falls, the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park where you will have the chance of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo and elephants among others. Expect a lunch stop en route. #If time allows, you can proceed for a late afternoon-to-evening game drive/safari. Note: If starting from the hotel or very early from the airport, it is possible to detour to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an hour of rhino tracking. If possible, you can do it at an extra cost of 50$ per person. Otherwise, we'll go directly to Murchison.

Day 2
Morning Game Driving And Afternoon Boat On The Nile
Morning Game Driving And Afternoon Boat On The Nile
After an early morning warm-up tea/coffee, you will transfer for a game drive to the northern bank in search of animals like lions, giraffes, oribis, elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda kobs, and buffaloes among other animals and bird species. You will then return to the lodge in time for lunch and relax preparing for yet an exciting activity in the afternoon. After lunch, transfer for a 3-hour boat ride on the Nile River to the bottom of the falls. Here you will have the opportunity to view animals such as crocodiles, and hippos, in the water and some on the river banks. Buffaloes, waterbucks, and elephants are often seen on the river bank grazing and drinking water. You will then have to hike to the top of the falls for a clear view of the falls. Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3

Be up early and drive off (about 1hr 15mins.) to Budongo Forest Reserve. We shall arrive in time for the 8:00 am briefing. From the briefing, we shall proceed to encounter the human’s closest relatives in the wild. Enjoy a guided primate walk in the lush expenses of the tropical forest in search of the habituated chimpanzee family. Your guide will explain more about the animals and plant species that you'll encounter on your way. After the trek, we can take some rest and lunch at Budongo Eco Lodge. Thereafter, we shall embark on a transfer Fort Portal city where we shall have an overnight at the booked accommodation.

Day 4
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park-Guided Game Drive

Have a relaxed breakfast at the accommodation and drive off to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will reach Queen early enough to have lunch, rest and then proceed out for game viewing. During the game drive, look out for wild animals like reedbuck, bushbuck, kob, warthogs, elephants, lions and buffaloes to mention but a few. Alternatively, you could choose to go for the Queen’s breathtaking explosion crater drive (instead). The drive is sightseeing with a very spectacular view of the breathtaking scenery in and around Queen. There is also some wildlife to see along the drive although the commonest are sights of Cape buffaloes plus elephants. Return to the accommodation for relaxation, dinner and the overnight stay.

Day 5

Be up early and proceed for an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Be on the look for Cape buffalos, herds of elephants, lions, and leopards (though hard to spot) among others. Return to the lodge and check out then head to the Ishasha Sector in search of tree-climbing lions. The chance of spotting these lions is about 70% though sometimes they are hard to spot (most especially when they are down in the grassland looking for prey). Should you get to spot them, the sight is picturesque and memorable. From Ishasha, we shall continue to the accommodation at the edge of Bwindi National Park (Ruhija sector), arriving in the evening (at around 6:00 pm).

Have breakfast and move to the rangers’ post. You will receive some briefing (from a ranger guide) on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Return to the accommodation, check out and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park for an overnight stay.

After having a cup of tea or coffee, leave for a walking safari or game drive in Lake Mburo N/Park. Exit Lake Mburo NP via Masaka but have a stop visit at Equator for taking pictures, lunch at Masaka then drop off to Kampala or Entebbe at end of the 7 days wildlife adventure.
