Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel. Following a brief orientation, you will head to Tarangire National Park. Known for its vast savannah, impressive baobab trees, and seasonal marshes, Tarangire is home to the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania.

In addition to elephants, you will likely see giraffes, buffalos, lions, zebras, wildebeest, and various antelopes and gazelles. Upon arrival, your guide will open the vehicle's roof, and your wildlife viewing adventure will begin.

Lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic spot, and in the afternoon, you will continue exploring this amazing and beautiful park.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at Fig Tree Lodge and Camp.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will drive from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti which takes 6 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have a stopover at Ngorongoro Crater. You will briefly stop for 20 minutes at the gate and viewpoint to look at the breathtaking view of the crater.

You will visit a Maasai village. It is optional to visit and explore the culture of the great Maasai community. They are known for chasing lions of their kill and hunting lions to be considered a warrior, drinking raw animal blood though these traditions are a thing of the past with the exception of drinking blood you can surely learn something. This is an optional visit not included in the price. The entrance fee is 10 - 20 USD.

You will arrive in the late afternoon and do a game drive in Seronera (center of Serengeti) till late evening and experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals lucky enough to see a predator hunting.

Day 4

Embark on a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a journey filled with excitement and anticipation for the incredible wildlife experience that awaits. Upon reaching the entrance gate and completing the necessary registration formalities, you will descend 600 meters into the crater floor in a 4WD safari vehicle, entering one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders.
Once on the crater floor, prepare to be amazed by the rich abundance of wildlife in this unique ecosystem. The crater is home to a high concentration of animals, including large herds of grazing zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and gazelles, all thriving in the lush grasslands. You may also witness thrilling moments of predator activity, as lions roam the plains and occasionally engage in hunting, while hyenas and other carnivores move through the area in search of prey. The presence of elephants, hippos, flamingos around the soda lakes.

After breakfast, you will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, famous for its large flocks of flamingos that often cover the alkaline lake and its rare tree-climbing lions, although they are not always easily spotted.

You will enjoy a full game drive through the park’s diverse ecosystems, including groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the lake shoreline, offering excellent opportunities for wildlife and bird viewing. The park is a true paradise for bird lovers, with over 400 recorded species, and you may also spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, as well as scavengers such as vultures and eagles. With some luck, you might also witness the famous tree-climbing lions resting on acacia branches, creating one of Africa’s most unique safari experiences.
