Day 1

You'll have a pick up from the agreed pick up point and begin a 3-to-4-hour journey west of Nairobi to Taita Hills wildlife sanctuary. You'll arrive at the gate where your entrance fees will have been paid and check in at the lodge with a prepared meal. The sanctuary straddles the Southern Tsavo West National Park and is an important dispersal area and migrating corridor for wildlife between Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park and making it a highly valued tourism recreational area and of ecological importance. The topography is generally mountainous that offering breathtaking landscape views of the Kilimanjaro, Pare, Uluguru mountains, and the clusters of Taita Hills with a seasonal river dividing the sanctuary into valleys and lowland plains.

Day 2

On this day, you will have an early morning and a late afternoon game drive. These game drives provide an ideal opportunity to view and photograph the diverse wildlife species within the sanctuary. The water holes near the lodges provide a wonderful opportunity to view animals at proximity within the comfort and confines of the lodge. During the day, you will enjoy the facilities at the lodge as well as a free tour of the World War 2 Heritage Museum.

Day 3
Taita Hills to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin a 4-hour drive further west to Amboseli.
Upon arrival at the park, the driver-guide will help with clearing the entrance fees. You'll proceed to check in at the lodge. After settling in, you’ll embark on your first game drive within the park. Amboseli is home to abundant wildlife, and this is your chance to spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and various bird species. The park’s open plains and swamps make for an ideal setting to witness wildlife in action, especially with the imposing Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. After your game drive, you'll return to your lodge for dinner and some rest, taking in the natural beauty of the park.

Day 4

You'll rise early morning before breakfast, and enjoy a game drive within the park. You'll get a chance to see the scenic views of the vast African landscape, with the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro often visible in the distance if the weather is clear, and the large herds of African elephants and their stunning views of Kilimanjaro, so be prepared for some spectacular photo opportunities. Later, you'll return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation as you unwind within the lodge and learn as much as you can about the local culture. In the late afternoon, you'll have a game drive, which is optional depending on your interest. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 5
Amboseli to Nairobi
Amboseli to Nairobi
You'll rise early morning and enjoy your last breakfast out in the bush. Later, you'll begin the drive back to Nairobi, which will take around 4-5 hours. The drive is scenic, and you’ll have the chance to reflect on your time in the parks as you make your way back to the city. Drop off will be as agreed before the departure date.
