Transfer To Kibale National Park and Bigodi Sanctuary Walk

Begin your Uganda primate safari with a transfer to Kibale National Park, home to one of Africa’s richest concentrations of primates. Upon arrival, explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary on a guided nature walk through its lush habitat. Chimpanzee Tracking Experience & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Start the day with chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest, following forest trails with expert guides as you search for habituated chimpanzees. Kibale is renowned for its primate diversity, making this a highlight of the safari.

Afterwards, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Watch for hippos, elephants, crocodiles and abundant birdlife along the water before returning to your lodge.

Travel south from Queen Elizabeth National Park toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha Sector. Keep watch for the area’s famous tree-climbing lions, often seen resting in the branches of large fig trees. The journey continues through changing landscapes toward southwestern Uganda and the forested mountains of Bwindi.
