Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

After pickup from Nairobi, you will depart for Amboseli National Park and arrive in time for a relaxed lunch afterward. Head out on your first game drive during the safari, which will take place in the afternoon between 4:00 and 6:30 pm. During this game drive, you will get the final sight of animals while they are out of their hides to get their last meal of the day and sunbathing, especially the reptiles. Kobs and other animals that graze will be assembled for their night's rest.

Amboseli National Park is also famous for being the best place in the world to get close to free-ranging elephants. The park also has views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. In the evening, you will have dinner and spend the night at your lodge.

Amboseli National Park game drive

You will head out for a day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. During the day, when the sun is hot, most animals gather near the riverbanks to quench their thirst and cool off, while others, like big cats, are rarely spotted. However, when the sun sets, some animals show up. Amboseli has all members of the Big Five, which are found here year-round. The park also has a variety of bird species, with 470 recorded, many of which are migrants, with almost 60 raptor species. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

Amboseli - Nairobi

After breakfast, you will check out, and you will start your journey back to Nairobi around 10:00 am. You will stop for lunch at a designated spot along the way, ensuring you are refreshed for the remainder of the trip. You will then continue your drive and are expected to arrive back in Nairobi around 3:00 pm, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or residence, concluding your memorable safari experience.
