1-Day Chobe Bird Watching Safari and Tiger Fishing Trip

Your adventure begins at 7:00 am when your driver-guide collects you from your Victoria Falls accommodation. After crossing the border, your guide assists with immigration before you continue to the jetty for a calm three-hour bird-watching cruise. In the soft morning light, African fish eagles call across the river, lilac-breasted rollers flash brilliant colours, and kingfishers, storks, herons, and cormorants follow the shoreline as they have for generations.

Around noon, enjoy a buffet lunch at a lodge overlooking the Chobe River.

After lunch, the rhythm shifts as you begin a two-hour Tiger-fishing experience on the stretch of river between Botswana and Namibia. Here, the swift, powerful tigerfish delivers a true test of skill as you cast into deep channels shaped by the current. You return to Victoria Falls by 5:30 pm with memories of a day shaped by river, wildlife, and wide African skies.
