You will be received with a warm welcome at the airport by your airport representative and driven to your city hotel; a perfect place where you will be accommodated for your first night in preparation for your safari the following day. Dinner will be on own.

Day 2

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

You'll wake up to the nice smell of the brewing Kenyan coffee. You are in Africa; your dream safari is here. You will then meet your driver guide, who will have a short briefing of the safari. You are all set for the safari. You will drive through Kenya's central highlands past the coffee plantations, crossing the equator to the Northern hemisphere and the northern circuit of Kenya. Your journey takes 3 ½ hours to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy located in Laikipia County. The conservancy started as a ranch and was established by multi-millionaire Adan Khashoggi. Today, it stands as a private conservancy that is home to wildlife. The park is endowed with many animals, e.g., Lions, leopards, gazelles, the Northern rhinos, giraffes, hyenas, jackals, and a variety of birdlife. You will check in for lunch, then you may wish to enjoy a siesta before you take an afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 3

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Today, you'll have a whole day to explore this beautiful wildlife gem. You will have morning and afternoon game drives at your disposal. You will visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide a home to orphaned chimps and the specially protected and fenced Northern white rhino. The camp, Sweetwaters Serena, offers a perfect wildlife viewing spot for the guests as it has its waterhole and saltlick, and animals come close to your vicinity.
Lunch will be served at the camp, followed by an afternoon game drive until sunset, when you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Samburu National Reserve

After an early morning breakfast, you will set off further North to Samburu. You will leave the lodge at 7:00 am. Your journey is 2 hrs long. The region is rugged and very scenic, with beautiful landscapes. You will arrive and start your safari with an en-route game drive. The climatic condition here is hot and dry. You'll check in early for lunch at the Samburu Intrepids Camp, set at the bank of the Ewaso Nyiro River. After lunch, you'll have some time for a siesta or enjoy a swim as you cool off from the hot sun. An afternoon game drive is dedicated to you at 4:00 pm. The reserve is famous for the special five, namely the reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, beisa oryx & secretary bird. There is also a variety of other wild game, such as elephants (big herds), lions, leopards, cheetahs, and gazelles. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

On this day, you will leave the lodge with a packed breakfast. Your destination is the Reteti Elephant Orphanage.
Reteti is a community-based project that aims to take care of the orphan elephants. Here, you will learn about the conservation measures to protect this wonderful wildlife for future generations. You will drive through the rugged landscape past the iconic Table Mountain, Mt. Ololokwe. Your bush breakfast will be served at the elephant rock. You will return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drives in search of the cats of Samburu.

Day 6

Aberdare National Park

Aberdare National Park

On this day, your destination is Aberdare National Park. At 9:00 am, after breakfast, you will drive south to Nyeri County. You will drive past the equator through the central highlands, arriving at the Aberdare Country Club for lunch. After lunch, you will get some hours to relax or as you wait for your transfer to The Ark, which is a tree lodge in the middle of Aberdare National Park.
The lodge is located inside the park, overlooking a flood-lit water hole where wild animals come to drink from. You will have wildlife viewing from the deck and balcony. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 7

Lake Naivasha

You'll depart for Naivasha after an early morning breakfast at 0900hrs. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge in Naivasha. You have some hours to relax as you enjoy the lodge's facilities or take a siesta. You may opt to take a boat ride in the afternoon at Lake Naivasha at 4:00 pm. You will come close to the aquatic birdlife such as the white pelicans, pied kingfisher, giant kingfisher, cormorant, African darter, and fish eagle. You will come close to the resident hippos at Lake Naivasha and see the giraffes, zebras, and impalas on the crescent island. This is such an awesome experience you would not want to miss out on. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

You'll have an early morning breakfast followed by departure at 7:30 am, heading southwest to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Named after the indigenous inhabitants of the area, the Maasai, it is one of the World's richest wildlife reserves and home to the spectacular 8th world wonder ‘The wildebeest migration’. You will arrive just in time for lunch served at the lodge. Afternoon game drive across the beautiful dotted plains of Mara in search of large prides of lions and other cat species like serval cat, cheetah, and leopard, including herbivores like topi, hartebeest, oribi, as well as many other mammals, reptiles, and amphibian species. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Today will be a wildlife viewing extravaganza!
Masai Mara reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem in the wild world. It is home to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals of any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate, and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for wildlife viewing activities.
A picnic lunch will be by the Mara River as you watch the hippos and crocodiles, or maybe view the great migration (July – October). Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

After breakfast, you will say ‘kwaheri’ to the Maasai Mara and return to Nairobi. Your lunch will either be served on the way to Nairobi or in Nairobi. Your final dinner is at the Carnivore Restaurant. After dinner, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home. We hope you had a fantastic safari experience.
