After breakfast, your Kilibeyond Adventure Safari guide will collect you from your lodging. This morning, you will embark on a scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive along well-maintained tarmac roads to Tarangire National Park. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which serves as the sole water source for local wildlife during the dry season. Renowned for its impressive elephant populations, the park provides excellent opportunities to witness these majestic creatures gathering by the river. You may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, along with various predators like lions and leopards lurking nearby.

Tarangire boasts the highest variety of bird species found anywhere in the world. As you explore, you'll encounter ancient baobab trees, some of which are thought to be over a millennium old. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated area within the park.

Following your game drive, you will head to your accommodation in Karatu.

After enjoying breakfast, you will make your way into the cooler, scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The initial view of the Ngorongoro Crater is like stepping into a hidden paradise. Enclosed by towering volcanic cliffs, this remarkable wilderness boasts vast savannahs, lush acacia forests, sparkling lakes, and vibrant wetlands. Formed by a massive volcanic eruption 2 to 3 million years ago, this UNESCO World Heritage Site spans 260 km² and is famous for its geological features and extraordinary wildlife.
