Nairobi - Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Depart Nairobi in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive through the central highlands, passing lush coffee and tea plantations. Arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in time for lunch at your camp. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, where you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, and the critically endangered black rhino. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where you can see rescued chimpanzees. As the sun sets, return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Start your day with an early morning game drive, the best time to spot predators in action. Explore the vast plains of Ol Pejeta, searching for rare species like Grevy’s zebra and Jackson’s hartebeest. After breakfast, you may visit the Endangered Species Enclosure, where the last two northern white rhinos, Najin and Fatu, are protected. Enjoy lunch and some relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive, where you might witness elephants cooling off at the waterholes or a pride of lions on the hunt. Return to the camp for dinner and a restful night under the African sky.
