Nairobi / Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport in the morning and head to the Masai Mara National Reserve, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Later on, you will continue your journey to Mara, where you will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, you will have some rest before going on your game drive.

Dinner and overnight are at your camp/lodge.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Go on a very early morning game drive in the Masai Mara. It is the ideal time to see wildlife as temperatures are cooler, and hopefully lion, cheetah and leopard will be roaming the vast grasslands in search of prey. Return to the lodge/camp for breakfast. The rest of the morning at leisure or partake in optional activities, a visit to a Maasai village to see their nomadic life (extra cost). After lunch at the lodge, there is a chance to relax by the swimming pool before an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Alternatively, instead of a morning and afternoon game drive, you can opt for a full-day game drive. In this case, you will have an early breakfast, then leave the lodge carrying the packed lunch in picnic boxes. You will spend the full day exploring the vast plains inhabited by a great variety of big game and plains animals.

Masai Mara / Lake Nakuru National Park

Wake up to a cup of tea or coffee, then depart Mara for Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, take a short break before your game drive.

Be on the lookout for large numbers of both black and white rhinos, endangered Rothschild's giraffes, pink flamingos, and lions that climb trees. This is one of only a handful of parks in Africa where you can see lions up in the branches. The view out over the lake from high on the escarpment is superb, while the lake itself is surrounded by acacia woodlands.

Lake Nakuru / Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru National Park for Amboseli National Park to arrive in good time for lunch. You have time to check into the lodge, enjoy your meal, unwind and enjoy the amenities. In the afternoon, you will head out for an exciting safari game drive in search of the Big 5 animals against the view of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from the lodge and proceed to the plains of Amboseli for a day full of safari adventure. Soak in the excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds build up over the summit. Catch the big cats as they stroll through the savannah. This is the best time to spot lions, leopards and even cheetahs. Our game drive will also take you to Observation Hill for a better view of the park. Gaze at the big herds of elephants crossing near your vehicle and get the chance to spot over 80 different mammals and over 400 different bird species.

Today, your safari will finally come to an end. You will have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive and return to the lodge/camp for breakfast.
