Jambo and welcome to Tanzania! Your dream adventure starts with a friendly meet-up at Kilimanjaro Airport. You can arrive in the afternoon or whenever your flight lands. Once you're here, our driver will greet you and take you to your booked accommodation in Arusha city. On the way, we'll stop to enjoy the stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

If you arrive early, why not take a guided tour to explore Arusha city? The guided city tour will lead you to historical sites such as the Uhuru Monument, the local market, the Masaai Market, and an art gallery, all while you shop for your safari essentials.

Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we’ll begin our journey to Tarangire National Park at 7:00 am. It's about a 1.5-hour drive. After permit check-in, we’ll start our wildlife exploration.

Tarangire is known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Still, there's much more to see, such as wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, baboons, vervet monkeys, and a rugged mix of hills, rivers, swamps, and savannahs. It's also a stronghold for lions, with chances to spot leopards and cheetahs.

In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a hot lunch at a scenic picnic site, followed by more game viewing until late afternoon. We’ll then head to our accommodation for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater

Today, we recommend waking up early for breakfast and departing at 6:30 am for Ngorongoro Crater.

Why an early game drive? Wildlife is most active in the morning, and the views are stunning. If you're lucky, you’ll catch a beautiful sunrise from the crater rim.

You’ll spend the day exploring this incredible place. After lunch, we’ll continue the game drive until late afternoon before returning to your accommodation for dinner and overnight rest.

You’ll never forget your first glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater from above. Gazing into this vast volcanic caldera feels like discovering a hidden world. The descent to the crater floor is equally thrilling, bringing you into a realm ruled by nature, where no one may stay overnight. You can expect to see black rhinos, lions, hyenas, elephants, flamingos, and more. When it’s time to leave, you’ll find yourself looking back, trying to hold onto every moment.

Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park - Flight from Arusha Airport to Zanzibar

We recommend departing at 8:00 am for a game drive. Lake Manyara is just a 30-minute drive from your lodge, and since it’s one of the smaller parks, we also suggest taking some time to enjoy the lodge’s facilities, such as the swimming pool.

Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s more unique parks. You’ll likely see the elephants it’s famous for, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot one of its well-known tree-climbing lions. The park also features a beautiful lake filled with wading birds, numerous olive baboons, and dense forests that give the thrilling feeling that wildlife could appear at any moment.

After lunch, we will drive to Arusha Airport for your flight, which departs at 4:30 pm and arrives at Zanzibar Airport at 5:30 pm. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you for your transfer to the hotel.

If you're interested in exploring more, there are several optional excursions available at an extra cost. These include a tour of Stone Town, a visit to Prison Island, snorkeling and dolphin tours at Mnemba Island, a Swahili cooking class, the famous Safari Blue trip, a visit to Nakupenda Island, and more.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Tembo Kiwengwa and transferred to Stone Town, the cultural heart of Zanzibar.

After the tour, you will be transferred to Hotel Verde Zanzibar for check-in, where you can relax and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

Early in the morning, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your departure. You will be dropped off approximately 3 hours before your flight to allow for a convenient check-in.
