Today you will be on Mountain Gorilla Trekking along our guide. Spending time in the presence of mountain gorillas is a real privilege, so we're sure you'll enjoy trekking deep into the forest to find them. This is one of the most memorable experiences you can have while on safari.

A magical highland landscape of clumped bamboo towers, tangled jungles and soaring volcanic peaks, Volcanoes National Park protects a chain of imposing mountains that rise to a maximum elevation of 4,507m. More than half the world’s mountain gorillas live in these forested mountains, and tracking these gigantic but peaceable apes in the wild is one of the most thrilling experiences on offer in Africa. You'll be based at a Lodge or Hotel in Nairobi. the rest of the day will be at your disposal. You cal either opt to visit Nairobi National museum, Nairobi national Park or rest and relax in your hotel room for the rest of the day.

Visiting Nairobi National Park can be a surreal experience. Where else can you see free-roaming wildlife with not-so-distant city skyscrapers in the background? Lions are among the main attractions, and the park is one of the best places in Kenya to
see rhinos. Watch also for giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles. Despite the park's small size, it's home to a remarkable.

The Museum aims to interpret Kenya's rich heritage and offers a one stop for visitors to sample the country's rich heritage both for education and leisure.

Our transfer this morning to the next part of your safari is also a game drive which means looking for animals as we go. Explore Ol Pejeta with us as you go looking for the Big Five on a guided game drive through this remarkable place.

There's a good chance you might see the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) on your visit to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which sits high on the Laikipia Plateau. The conservancy is a fantastic place to see all five species (although leopard can be elusive), and it's one of the best places to see rhino anywhere in Kenya. Other wildlife highlights might include cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra and more. Over 500 bird species have been recorded here too. Ol Pejeta also offers the chance to see the last two surviving northern white rhino, as well as a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. The conservancy's landscapes include savannah grasslands and riverine woodlands.

After breakfast you'll be transferred to Samburu national Park. On arrival, you continue with game drive in the park areas.

We think you'll fall in love with Samburu National Reserve at first sight. It's a fantastic reserve that doesn't get the crowds you sometimes see in Kenya's south. The reserve is well-stocked with predators, including lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena, with sightings of elephant, giraffe, hippo and zebra also common. It's a chance to see some northern animals that are hard to see elsewhere, including Somali ostrich, gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe. Fabulous scenery and nearly 400 bird species too.

Kenya has some incredible wildlife destinations, but the Masai Mara National Reserve may well be the best of them all. This classic East African landscape of Savannah grasslands, rolling hills, acacia woodlands and distant escarpments is itself impressive. But it's also the backdrop to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife on the planet. The Mara is known for its big cats, and this is certainly one of the best places to see lion, leopard and cheetah. From Arusha Town you will be transferred by Road via Namanga Border Post to Amboseli National Park.

You'll be visiting one of the best safari parks in Africa when you come to Amboseli. The park is filled with big-tusked elephants, and Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain (5895m), looms over Amboseli. This combination makes for some fantastic photos, especially when the clouds clear over the summit as they do most days around sunrise and sunset. You also have a good chance of seeing lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes (out in the park's east), wildebeests and plenty of gazelles. The park is also terrific for birding, with 420 species recorded.
