Flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti/ Game Drive Serengeti

Today, you will depart on a scheduled flight from Zanzibar Airport at 8:00am to the Serengeti. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip at 11:00am, our professional guide will warmly welcome you and begin your first exciting game drive. You will stop for lunch at a picnic site inside the park, then continue exploring the wilderness until evening, before returning to your Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. You will enjoy your stay at the luxurious Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti.

The Serengeti, located in northern Tanzania, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering approximately 15,000 km² (5,800 mi²). It is home to over 2 million herbivores, around 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and nearly 500 bird species. During the dry season, vast herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra dominate the plains, while year-round resident wildlife includes lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the rare oribi antelope.

Morning Walking Safari followed with Game drive

After breakfast, you will depart for a guided walking safari, focusing on birdlife and other wildlife while experiencing nature up close. After the walking safari, you may choose to relax and enjoy the lodge facilities, or continue with a game drive. Later in the day, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset game drive, or opt for a full game drive following the walking safari.

Spend the day exploring the wonders of Serengeti National Park on an exhilarating game drive. With the expertise of your experienced guide, you will traverse the vast plains in search of Africa’s iconic Big Five, surrounded by the park’s breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife.

Early Morning Game Drive in Serengeti and Return Flight to Zanzibar

Enjoy breakfast before heading out on an early morning game drive through the Serengeti, soaking in the sights of wildlife one last time. Afterwards, proceed to Seronera Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. The flight departs the Serengeti at 11:30am and arrives at Zanzibar Airport at 2:15pm.

You also have the option to add an early morning hot air balloon safari in Serengeti National Park. This unforgettable experience allows you to witness the sunrise from the sky and observe wildlife roaming freely across the plains below.
