Very organised and great communication!
From the moment we booked with Akondo, the communication and organisation of the trip was exceptional. Any questions we had were answered promptly and they listened to everything we wanted within our package. Once we arrived in the Serengeti, we were greeted by our extremely knowledgeable and friendly safari guide Richard. He made our trip so enjoyable and we were able to capture images and videos which we will cherish forever thanks to him. His English was brilliant and he had a great understanding of the game drives and where the likely place would be to spot specific animals. He also made sure we arrived at our lodges with enough time to fully enjoy them after each day on the safari. Thank you Richard and Akondo Adventures for a perfect honeymoon trip!

Amazing. Great service.
We booked with Akondo where immediately Tassiana worked closely with us to ensure we booked exactly what we wanted. She took the time to create several different itinerary’s before confirming the final one.
All transfers were arranged and everything was smooth without issues. Our safari guide Richard was the best and answered any questions we had about the animals we saw. He had an incredible ability to put the safari truck in the right place to view animals within meters and often predicted where they would walk putting us right in-front of the wildlife for an amazing experience. He even got us to see three leopards in one day!
They also booked the second half of our trip in Zanzibar where again nothing has disappointed. We feel the price paid has been well worth the service we have been provided and a trip that is truly memorable. If you want an incredible safari trip then look no further than Akondo! Highly recommended.

Amazing experience
An incredible experience; our guide, Giulius, was fantastic—a friendly, highly knowledgeable person who is passionate about his work. We were also lucky enough to see all "Big Five," especially the leopard that walked right past our jeep.

Experience and availability of the staff
Our first safari with Akondo and our driver, Ephata. Excellent organization, and thanks to Ephata’s experience, we were able to see so many animals, including some of the rarer ones. All the places we stayed during the different days of the safari were perfect and offered every comfort.

5 amazing days
We’ve done the 5days tour between Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti and it has been amazing!
We’ve seen all the big5 and so many other animal.
All the lodges/camps are really nice and well served and also the food both in the staying and in the lunch humpers is so good.
We have also done the air-balloon experience and it has been unbelievable.
A special mention to our guide Julias, he has been so nice, well-prepared and also incredible in catching all the animals. We will for sure recommend to all our friends!

Dedicated to create great memories
We picked on purpose a local operator based on strong reviews and Akondo delivered. We were impressed by the extensive and friendly communication before and during our trip. They didn't just offered a standard tour but made sure it was tailored to our desires. Special thanks to Tassiana for all the effort and always being there for answering on any question or request.
We got a trip which was really value for money. Compared to other operators they were less expensive while delivering top quality. What is crucial for safari's is to have a great guide, and we had one with Richard. He brought us to all the nice places while explaining us what we wanted and needed to know. Also important he drove safe.
We loved the accomodations they picked for us. All different but all lovely. We will never forget this trip

The funniest and well knowledgeable guide we could have wished for!
In the first morning we saw 4 of the big 5, from the start Richard was great and knew exactly where to take us and how to get us close. He was always reliable with timing, he got us everywhere on time and when we agreed, and generally made us feel like nothing was an issue at all. The lodges we stayed in were great, both different but equally authentic experiences. In terms of value for money, this trip was worth every penny. Between seeing animals Richard told us about the various facts he knew about wildlife and Tanzania, and we had a lot of laughs too. I would 100% recommend!

Three wild days, countless animals, and a guide who seemed to have wildlife on speed dial!
We had an amazing 3-day safari experience from start to finish! Everything was perfectly organized, from flying into the middle of the Serengeti from Zanzibar to the lodges and transfers, so we could just relax and enjoy every moment.
We visited the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire and saw an incredible amount of wildlife. Our guide Richard was fantastic — great at spotting animals and always sharing interesting and funny facts along the way.
The lodges were beautiful, especially the experience of sleeping in a tent in the middle of the Serengeti and hearing the animals at night. The safari vehicle was also very comfortable, with spacious seats and a fridge with cold drinks.
Everything was already arranged and paid for, so we didn’t have to worry about anything apart from tips at the lodges. A truly unforgettable experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
