Day 1

Pick up from Entebbe and transfer to Kibale National Park

Pick up from Entebbe and transfer to Kibale National Park

On this day, your driver guide from Kimedi Eco-tours will welcome you at the airport or pick you up from the hotel. You'll then embark on a journey to Kibale National Park, having lunch en route. While approaching the forest, baboons will welcome you as you approach the forest. You'll then check in at your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2

Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk

Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk

On this day, you'll wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. You'll then head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking. You'll then head to the forest in search of a chimpanzee community and spend an hour in their presence after finding them. You'll then return to the starting point and then head to the lodge for a little bit of relaxation. After, you'll head to the Bigodi wetland for a swamp-primate walk where you'll appreciate the contribution of local communities in the conservation of natural resources. You'll also see other primates and bird species, after which you'll return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On this day, you'll have your breakfast at ease and then pack your bags. You'll then embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You'll pass by the savannah parks of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you may see some wild animals from a distance. You'll arrive in the late afternoon or early evening. You'll then chack in at the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 4

On this day, you'll wake up early in the morning for breakfast. You'll then head to the park for the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules. After the briefing, you'll divide into groups of 8 to find a group of gorillas each. After heading to the forest and finding the gorillas, you'll spend an hour in their presence, have your packed lunch, and then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

On this day, you'll have an early morning breakfast. You'll then pack your bags and embark on your 8 hour journey to Entebbe/Kampala. You'll pass by the Equator crossing point, where the world is crossed into two. You'll proceed to the airport for your flight out to end the tour.
