I've just returned from an absolutely extraordinary 6-day trip between Rwanda and Uganda, and I wholeheartedly recommend Kimed Eco Tours.

This is my second safari with Kimed Eco Tours, and it was just as incredible as the first. Our guide, Medard, knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience truly special. Medard provided us with deep insights into the local wildlife, cultural history, and even the small hidden gems of Uganda that we never would’ve discovered on our own.
The accommodations throughout the trip were fantastic. We stayed in carefully selected lodges that were comfortable, clean, and situated in breathtaking locations, offering amazing views of the national parks. Highly recommend Kimed Eco Tours for anyone wanting to explore Uganda!

We did the 3 day Gorilla Trekking (Uganda) and Golden Monkey Trekking (Rwanda). Before the tour the communication with both the tour operator and, closer to the tour dates, our guide Medard was great. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Our guide Medard was fantastic, his English was great and he gave us loads of information about Uganda and Rwanda throughout the tour and answered all our questions. If he didn’t know the answer he made a point to find out and let us know later. He kept us updated with the itinerary each day and handled everything for us when crossing borders or arrived at accommodation. We booked the budget package but the accommodation was still great value for money. The gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is breathtaking. The whole project is so well run and they explain how the community and the gorillas all benefit from they way the conservation project runs. We got to spend a full hour observing the gorillas at really close proximity, which was extremely special. We also enjoyed the golden monkey trek. Medard ensured we stuck to the itinerary and everything ran so smoothly. I can’t recommend this tour and our guide Medard enough. It’s a trip we will never forget!
