Arrival then Explore Materuni Village

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted by your Big Time Adventures guide and transferred to Materuni Village, nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Begin your adventure with a scenic walk to the stunning Materuni Waterfall, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The lush, green landscape and the sound of cascading water create a perfect setting for exploration and reflection.

Next, immerse yourself in the coffee experience at a local coffee farm. Learn about the traditional process of coffee cultivation, from hand-picking the beans to roasting them, and even try your hand at brewing your own cup. You will have a hot traditional lunch in the village after coffee experience. Afterward you will be heading back to Under the Shade Arusha for your dinner and overnight stay. Here, you can unwind and prepare for the next day of your Big Time Adventures safari.

Drive from Arusha-Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at Under the Shade in Arusha, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The journey takes approximately 2 to 3 hours, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Upon arrival in Tarangire, you'll begin an exciting game drive in search of the park's diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and many bird species. The park is especially renowned for its elephants, often seen in large herds around the Tarangire River. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic area within the park, surrounded by nature’s beauty. Afterward, continue your exploration with more game drives, capturing incredible wildlife moments and breathtaking scenery. In the late afternoon, you'll head to Eileen's Tree Lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Crater Tour Drive Back to Arusha Town

After breakfast, depart from Eileens Tree for a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most unique and biodiverse ecosystems. Upon arrival at the crater rim, take in breathtaking panoramic views before descending to the crater floor for an exciting game drive. As you explore the floor of this natural wonder, encounter a wealth of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and possibly the elusive black rhino. The Ngorongoro Crater, often called the "Garden of Eden," offers a remarkable safari experience with its rich variety of animals and stunning landscapes. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the crater, surrounded by nature’s beauty. After lunch, continue your game drive before ascending the crater rim. Following your unforgettable experience in Ngorongoro, drive back to Arusha. On arrival, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport (ARK) for your onward journey or international flight, marking the end of your remarkable Tanzanian safari adventure.
