Day 1
Pick up and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Pick up and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will be picked by an Otter African Safaris guide and start your journey to Lake Mburo National Park in Kiruhura Western Uganda. First stop will be at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable photos and the famous water experiment that
shows that earth is separated into the Northern and Southern Hemisphere and you will have a chance to enjoy both the hemispheres. You will then continue to the park where you will arrive in the afternoon where you will check in to the lodge and you will have lunch. After lunch you will go for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo where you will see many mammal species
like crocodiles, hippos, and many bird species. After the boat cruise, you will have an evening game drive where you will see many mammal species like Zebras, Kobs, Antelopes, Water bucks, Giraffes, Warthogs, Bush Bucks and among others. After the evening game drive and afternoon boat cruise you will return to the lodge for an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 2
Guided Nature walk and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After your morning breakfast, the game rangers will take you for a guided walk to the salty rocks at Rwonyo where animals are found licking salt. After that you will have a morning game drive as you exit the park and set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have an en-route lunch as you continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with the amazing views of South Western Uganda. You will reach the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening where you will check in the lodge and have dinner.

Day 3
Gorilla Tracking Experience
Gorilla Tracking Experience
You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report at the park headquarters at 7:30am for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Remember to carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water since you may stay in the forest up to afternoon in search of these gentle giants in their natural environment. Gorilla tracking exercise is physically demanding but an exciting activity! You may need to hire a porter to assist you during tracking and these are readily available at the park headquarters. Time allowed to spend with gorillas is 1 hour when you have found them and this is enough to ask all the questions about their behaviour. Return to the lodge after tracking and freshen up. In the evening, Batwa pygmies will be invited to entertain you with their dances, storytelling after you have dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will enjoy a scenic drive filled with the beautiful tea estates, crater lakes in Rubirizi as you approach Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have an en-route lunch and you will continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National. You will arrive at the lodge later in the afternoon and check in and you will go for an evening game drive in the rolling plains of Kasenyi in Queen Elizabeth National Park and you will see different types of mammals such as Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Kobs, Water bucks, Bush bucks and so many more. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

Chimpanzee Tracking and Afternoon Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
After your early morning breakfast, you will drive to Kalinzu forest reserve for Chimpanzee Tracking. You will then embark on a trek for the search of the chimpanzees and once you have spotted a group you will spend one hour with them observing their different behaviours and you will also spot other types primates in the forest such as the white and black Colobus monkey, Red Tailed monkeys among others. After the chimpanzee tracking experience you will be awarded a chimpanzee tracking certificate and after you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will go for a 2 hour boat cruise trip on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes George and Edward and you will surely be fascinated by the concentrations of giant hippos, buffaloes, elephants and crocodiles among others. You will also see many varieties of birds at the water shores. You
will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6
Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Entebbe
Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Entebbe
You will have breakfast very early in the morning then depart for an early morning game drive to the rolling plains of Uganda’s second largest National Park and look out for lions, leopards, Jackson hartebeest, buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, Uganda Kobs, oribis, and elephants. After the morning game drive you will return to the lodge, and have lunch then you will check out and transfer back to Entebbe International Airport. Do not forget to purchase a souvenir for yourself as a remembrance for this wonderful trip.
