Day 1

After breakfast, an Otter African Safaris guide will pick you up and take you to Kibale National Park in Fort Portal, passing through tea farms and rolling hills before arriving in town. After lunch in Fort Portal, you'll head to Kibale National Park. After settling into the resort, you will proceed on a guided nature walk through the Bigodi wetlands to view 138 bird species.

Day 2

Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, arrive at the park headquarters in Kanyanchu at 7:30 am for a lecture from the guides on how to interact with the chimps safely. You will go on a trek to find chimps and spend an hour with them to observe their behaviour and other primates in the forest. After the chimp tracking adventure, participants will get a certificate and return to the resort for lunch. After lunch, check out of the lodge and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 3
Morning Game drive and later afternoon boat trip on the Kazinga channel
Morning Game drive and later afternoon boat trip on the Kazinga channel
Have your breakfast very early in the morning, and depart for an early morning game drive as
early as 6 am to the rolling plains of Uganda’s second largest National Park, and look out for:
lions, leopards, Jackson hartebeest, buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards,
Uganda Kobs, oribis, and elephants. For any birder, there are quite a number of birds to
sight too during the drive. Return to the lodge for some rest time and lunch. After lunch at the
Lodge, you will go for a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects the Lakes
George and Edward, and you will surely be fascinated by the concentrations of giant hippos,
buffaloes, elephants and crocodiles, among others.

Day 4
Transfer to Bwindi Impentrable National Park
Transfer to Bwindi Impentrable National Park
After the morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on a journey to Bwindi
Impenetrable National Park. As you exit Queen Elizabeth, you will pass through the Ishasha
plains for another epic game drive on your way to Bwindi, and you will be able to spot tree-climbing lions. After the game drive, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and you will check in at the lodge.

Day 5
Gorilla Trekking Experience
Gorilla Trekking Experience
You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report at the park headquarters
at 7:30 am for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Remember to carry
your packed lunch and enough drinking water since you may stay in the forest up to
afternoon in search of these gentle giants in their natural environment. Gorilla tracking
exercise is physically demanding but an exciting activity! You may need to hire a porter to
assist you during tracking, and these are readily available at the park headquarters. Time
allowed to spend with gorillas is 1 hour when you have found them, and this is enough to ask
all the questions about their behaviour. Return to the lodge after tracking and freshen up. In
the evening, Batwa pygmies will be invited to entertain you with their dances, storytelling
after you have dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 6
Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Mburo
Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Mburo
After breakfast, depart from the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and head to Lake
Mburo National Park, the smallest Savannah National Park in Uganda. You will reach the
park in the afternoon for lunch, and then go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo, which will reward
You with find wildlife such as crocodiles, hippos, and lots of bird species. You will then have an
evening game drive where you will encounter wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, impalas,
elands, buffaloes, Waterbucks, among others.

Day 7
Transfer to back to Entebbe or Kampala
Transfer to back to Entebbe or Kampala
After your morning breakfast, you will take a guided walk to the salty
rocks at rwonyo, where animals are found licking salt. After you will have a morning game
drive as you exit the park and set off to Kampala or Entebbe. Along the way, you will have
a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable photos and the famous water experiment
that shows that Earth is separated into the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, and you will
have a chance to enjoy both hemispheres.
