Arusha To Ngorongoro Crater

Depart from Arusha and head to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, This Park seems like a lost world upon your arrival at Ngorongoro Crater. The stunning surroundings include sparkling lakes and wetlands, patches of acacia forest, and vast savannahs concealed by the steep volcanic walls. The Crater was created two to three million years ago when a colossal volcano erupted and collapsed upon itself. It is renowned for its geological marvels, as well as being a nature reserve that contains some of the largest herds of large mammals on the African continent. The descent into the Crater is an adventure by itself, and upon reaching the bottom, you’ll quickly find yourself amidst over 500 species of birds, zebras, gazelles, and wildebeests. The Crater offers you the best opportunity to see the endangered black rhino, which can occasionally be seen grazing in the open grasslands.
