Your day begins with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a scenic three-hour drive to Serengeti National Park. Ngorongoro Crater

The fifth day program begins with an early breakfast, followed by a trip to Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most iconic destinations. A game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater offers one of the most unique and rewarding safari experiences in Africa. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania. It’s the world’s largest inactive, intact volcanic caldera, formed about 2–3 million years ago. The crater floor is about 260 square kilometers (100 square miles) and lies at about 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. It is essentially a natural enclosure for wildlife, often called a "natural zoo" due to the density and diversity of animals. The crater is the home of big five animals such as lions, leopards, black rhino, buffalos and other animals like zebras, hyenas, and wildebeest.

You will ascend to crater and drive to the lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.
