Departure from Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Morning: You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and transferred to Arusha Airport (ARK) for a scheduled flight to Seronera Airstrip (SEU) in the Central Serengeti (approximately 50 - 60 minutes). Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and begin your first game drive en route to your lodge or camp.

Afternoon: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush or at your accommodation. Continue with an extensive afternoon game drive in the Seronera Valley, known for its abundant wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and various antelopes. The Seronera River is a vital water source, attracting a high concentration of animals year-round.

Evening: Check in at your chosen lodge or tented camp in the Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

Morning: Go on an early morning game drive in the Central Serengeti, exploring the diverse habitats and visiting kopjes (rock outcrops) which are often favored by big cats, and tracing riverbeds.

Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush to maximize game drive time.

Afternoon: Continue with game drives, focusing on areas with high wildlife concentrations and specific migration movements (if applicable). Your guide will use their expertise to locate the best sightings.

Evening: Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Exploring Different Sectors of Serengeti National Park

This is another full day of game viewing. Depending on the location of the accommodation and the movement of wildlife, the game drives may focus on a different sector of the park compared to day 2. This could include exploring areas like the Moru Kopjes, known for lion prides, or heading towards the Lobo area in the north (depending on the season and migration).

Game drives continue throughout the day, with breaks for lunch (either a picnic, or at the lodge or camp). The focus remains on observing the diverse ecosystems and the incredible array of animals, from large herds of wildebeest and zebra to elusive leopards and cheetahs.

Morning Game Drive and Departure to Arusha

Morning: After an early breakfast, embark on a final game drive as you head towards the airstrip for your return flight. This offers one last chance to spot any missed animals or witness a dramatic hunting scene. Enjoy the sunrise over the savannah and capture final photographs.

Mid-morning: You will arrive at Seronera Airstrip (SEU) or another designated airstrip. Board your scheduled flight back to Arusha (ARK).

Afternoon: Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be met and transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your international departure or to your hotel in Arusha for onward arrangements.
