Day 2
Game Drives in Serengeti National Park
Game Drives in Serengeti National Park
Game drives are conducted in custom-built safari vehicles with pop-up roofs for optimal viewing and photography. The experienced guide will navigate the park's tracks, seeking out wildlife and providing information about the animals and their behavior.
This day is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. The specific areas visited will depend on the time of year and the location of the wildlife, particularly if the Great Migration is present. Areas like the Seronera Valley (central Serengeti) are known for their high concentration of predators year-round.
Return to the lodge/camp in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
The afternoon game drive continues the exploration, focusing on different habitats or areas where specific animals have been spotted.
Lunch is typically a picnic lunch to maximize time spent on game drives, or it can be taken back at the lodge/camp depending on the itinerary and location.

Exploring Different Sectors of Serengeti National Park
Another full day of game viewing. Depending on the location of the accommodation and the movement of wildlife, the game drives may focus on a different sector of the park compared to Day 2. This could include exploring areas like the Moru Kopjes, known for lion prides, or heading towards the Lobo area in the north (depending on the season and migration).
Game drives continue throughout the day, with breaks for lunch (either picnic or at the lodge/camp). The focus remains on observing the diverse ecosystems and the incredible array of animals, from large herds of wildebeest and zebra to elusive leopards and cheetahs.
Optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari can be arranged for this morning at an additional cost. This provides a unique aerial perspective of the Serengeti landscape and wildlife at sunrise. (Note: This is an optional add-on and not typically included in the standard package price).
