Arrive in time for a late lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Early Morning (06:30 - 09:30): Start with an early morning game drive, which is the best time for predator activity. Your guide will focus on areas known for high concentrations of lions, leopards, and cheetahs. This is your chance for unforgettable predator sightings, witnessing hunts or interactions.
Late Morning (09:30 - 12:30): If conditions permit and pre-arranged, embark on a guided walking safari with an armed ranger. This is an unforgettable intimate experience, allowing you to appreciate the smaller details of the bush, track animals on foot, and connect with nature on a deeper level.
Lunch (13:00 - 14:00):Enjoy a picnic lunch out in the bush to maximize game viewing time.
Afternoon (15:30 - 18:30): Continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring different sections of Ruaha, keeping an eye out for the elusive African wild dog, sable and roan antelope, and other unique species that thrive in.
Evening (19:00 onwards): Sundowners, dinner, and overnight at your Ruaha lodge.

Morning (07:00 - 08:00): Enjoy a final breakfast at your Ruaha lodge.
Morning (08:00 - 09:00): Short game drive en route to the airstrip.
Mid-Morning (09:30 - 11:00): Board a scheduled flight from Ruaha to Mikumi National Park's airstrip.
Late Morning (11:00 - 12:00): Upon arrival at Mikumi airstrip, you'll be met by your new safari guide.
Lunch (12:30 - 13:30): Drive to your lodge/camp in Mikumi, check-in, and have lunch.
Afternoon (15:30 - 18:30): Embark on your first game drive in Mikumi, focusing on the Mkata Floodplain. This area is reminiscent of the Serengeti and offers excellent opportunities to see large herds of zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and elephants. This is your chance to start looking for Mikumi's unique giraffe subspecies and observe the park's accessible wildlife.
Evening (19:00 onwards): Dinner and overnight at your Mikumi lodge/camp.
