Explore the diverse terrain, from riverine forests to arid plains, and look out for Samburu’s famous Special Five—Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and the graceful gerenuk. Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, set out on another game drive, following the Ewaso Nyiro River where elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife gather.
