Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Morning: Pickup from your hotel in Arusha around 7:00–8:00 AM. Meet your guide and fellow travelers and depart in a shared 4x4 safari vehicle.

Late Morning & Afternoon: Arrive at Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and abundant wildlife. Enjoy a guided game drive spotting lions, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.

Lunch: Picnic lunch inside the park.

Evening: Continue afternoon game drive before heading to the campsite for overnight stay. Set up tents and enjoy dinner around the campfire.

Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater

Early Morning: Optional early morning game drive in Tarangire to catch wildlife during the cooler hours. Breakfast at the campsite.

Mid-Morning: Depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way.

Afternoon: Descend into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for a full-day game drive. Spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) as well as flamingos, hippos, and other wildlife.

Lunch: Picnic lunch on the crater floor with panoramic views.

Evening: Head to a budget campsite or lodge near the crater rim. Dinner and overnight stay under the stars.

Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara – Arusha

The final day begins with breakfast at the campsite. Depending on the specific itinerary and timing, there might be a short morning activity, such as a brief final game drive in one of the parks or a visit to a local cultural site near Mto wa Mbu, before commencing the journey back to Arusha. Alternatively, the departure for Arusha may begin directly after breakfast. The drive back to Arusha takes several hours. Lunch is usually provided either en route or upon arrival back in Arusha. The safari concludes in the afternoon upon arrival back in Arusha, where travelers are dropped off at their accommodation or a designated point. Transportation throughout the day is in the 4x4 safari vehicle.
