On the first day, we will be at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport waiting for you. Once you arrive, you will meet our professional guide, who will take you to your reserved hotel in Bujumbura city, brief you on the trip ahead, and then leave you free to spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Bujumbura - Rusizi National Park - Bujumbura

We will wake up early in the morning and leave the hotel at 7:00 a.m. for a Bujumbura city tour, including visits to Lake Tanganyika, the Living Museum, the famous International Explorers Monument (Livingstone & Stanley), and the Independence and Unity Monuments. We will then return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we will drive about 40 minutes to visit Rusizi National Park to see hippos surfacing for air.
