After an early breakfast, you'll be picked up from your Nairobi hotel and head north to Samburu National Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed to an afternoon game drive at Buffalo Springs/Samburu National Reserve. After the game drive, head for dinner and your overnight stay at your lodge.

Explore Samburu National Reserve

Early in the morning enjoy a sunrise game drive at the reserve, where you'll be able to see the Samburu special five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa Oryx, gerenuk (giraffe antelope) and Somali ostrich. Afterwards, proceed to breakfast and spend the mid-morning at leisure. After lunch, proceed to an afternoon game drive until sunset. Then you'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

After an early game drive at the Samburu National Reserve, proceed for breakfast as you check out. You will be transferred to Ol Pejeta in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed to an afternoon game drive. Home to the last two northern white rhinos, Ol Pejeta offers thrilling game drives, up-close encounters with endangered species, and an opportunity to see the Big Five. Explore its vast plains, visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, and enjoy conservation-focused experiences in one of Africa’s most remarkable reserves. Day 4

Ol Pejeta-Lake Nakuru National Park

Ol Pejeta-Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast as you exit Ol Pejeta and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, a birdlife haven, renowned for its thousands of flamingoes, at the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered but beautiful species. You’re sure to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the lakeshore. The park is also sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhino. Arrival will be in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon you will embark on a game drive before going back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a full day in this phenomenal reserve. One of the most iconic wildlife regions in Africa. You’ll have excellent opportunities to spot some of Africa's most notable species such as lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs and many more.
We can also arrange for a stunning hot air balloon safari over the Maasai Mara at an extra cost, as well as a Maasai village visit to add some truly intimate touches to your Kenya safari experience. To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
