1-Day Safari to Tarangire National Park Day Trip

A game drive is a guided safari tour conducted in a 4x4 vehicle, designed for wildlife viewing. In Tarangire, these typically take place in the morning and afternoon, when animals are most active. The drives are led by experienced guides or driver-guides who help spot and interpret animal behavior. Tarangire is known for Tanzania’s largest population of elephants, during the dry season (June–October), large herds gather along the Tarangire River, you may see elephants digging into dry riverbeds for water. The park is dotted with massive baobab trees, giving the landscape a prehistoric feel.

In the late afternoon you'll drive back to Arusha for the tour ends here.
